Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our
team at Hella. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and sales,
with a focus on the Survey/LiDAR/Drone sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will be
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and
driving sustainable financial growth. You will play a crucial role in closing new deals, negotiating
contracts, and promoting our products and services. This position requires a proactive and goaloriented individual with excellent communication skills and technical competency.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Participate and present at industry events and expos to promote the company's products/services.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Organize business meetings with existing and prospective clients.
• Position and promote the company's products/services, addressing or predicting client’s objectives.
• Prepare sales contracts, proposals, and establish company guidelines.
• Travel pan India for meetings, client visits, and project site inspections.
• Provide responses to E-Procurement Bids and participate in Pre-Bid Meetings.
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to the management.
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Build and manage a team effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of Business Development/Sales and Marketing experience, preferably in the Survey/Drone/LiDAR sector
• Good communication skills in English and regional languages.
• Proficiency in using Office, Sales/CRM Applications.

• Strong initiative and ability to work with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Goal-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle objections from clients and turn them into opportunities.

Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Close New Business Deals:

7. Travel and Site Inspections:
• Travel extensively throughout India to meet with clients, conduct site inspections, and attend important meetings.
• Build rapport with clients through face-to-face interactions, fostering trust and confidence.
8. Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all sales activities, including sales, revenue, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
• Use data to track and report on sales performance.
9. Customer Support:
• Provide consistent, trustworthy feedback and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the entire business engagement.
• Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
10. Relationship Building:
